Six senior education majors from Wilkes University are teaching abroad in a new exchange program at the Sri Utama International School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The participating students' areas of specialization vary from secondary English and history to elementary and special education. They will spend seven weeks student teaching under the guidance of Gina Morrison, associate professor of education at Wilkes, giving them a first-hand opportunity to experience cultural diversity.
